About St Aubins Village

The grounds of St Aubins Village is heritage listed circa 1870, The cottages 1879 and the Heritage House 1889.   Set on 2 acres surrounded by quaint cottages & picturesque gardens, paved courtyard area and Blacksmiths Barn (more of the History of St Aubins Village under the History tab) 

-About the current St Aubins Village-
We are a Family owned and operated venue. located in Rockhampton, Central Queensland, purchased in 2017 by the Dawson Family, Lauren Myors (nee Dawson) got married here to her husband Charlie in 2016, the entire Family worked hard to get it ready for the wedding in a short 8 months.   Lauren, her Mum (Janice) and Dad (Brian) fell in love with St Aubins Village and decided to open it to the public so everyone could enjoy the beauty and history of St Aubins, with a passion and love for weddings we had our first wedding in February 2017, Lauren has since completed her Event and Wedding Planning degree and loves working with the couples and making their day perfect, we have won multiple weddings awards including the 2022 Australian Wedding Award and many others, Janices' love is cooking and decided to open the Teahouse in June 2022, we now employee 6 staff in total and look to expand in the near future.

We hold Weddings & Events here most weekends.  Teahouse operates Monday to Friday offering Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch and Barista made coffee.  The food we offer is Australian Homecooked meals prepared onsite by our experienced team.

There is a boutique gift shop opened Monday to Friday which has a range of gift ideas from jewellery & handbags, country style homewares & desirable giftware.  Herbs- Basil, Rosemary & MInt that is potted & sold by Laurens daughter Amelia (6 years of age)

Our newest edition to St Aubins is our lovely Vintage Caravan Bar (The Village Bar) which enables us to serve alcohol with our meals during the week and for our events on weekends.

Our Heritage Tours which we run once a week is a great way to learn the history of St Aubins, The Brickworks & to be able to walk through the Heritage House & Cottages.  The tour is followed by our famous Garden Tea all being served on our collection of Fine China.

Visitors love our expansive lawn and garden area it’s an ideal place to have our picnics on lawn basket luncheon.  Loaded with delicious goodies for 2.

For the romantics or friends that want their own exclusive spot you can book the ‘Date Table’ on the verandah of the Heritage House which overlooks the front lawn and gardens.

We have 2 cottages available on site for mid-week and weekend accommodation and being only walking distance from the airport is a great stop over for the travellers.

People come here to relax from the normal day hustle and bustle and return on a regular basis because it’s such a peaceful sanctuary in the heart of cattle country, you feel like you can take a step back in time, unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

Our venue is becoming increasingly popular because of the serenity, great food, beautiful gardens, the experience you get when visiting, memories that are made and the history learnt.
